¶ EGM dispenser setup guide
The next few steps will show you how to inegrate your EGM ball dispenser with your YGB booking page using a NetBox, if you not using a Netbox please scroll down.
- Contact EGM to install a NetBox into your ball dispenser.
- Obtain from YGB your venue API Key.
- Install the egm-ygb desktop application on a computer that you use daily, ideally this will be the same computer that you will use to manage bookings throuugh the YGB admin panel. You can install the egm-ygb desktop application by clicking this link: https://yourgolfbooking.com/egm-setup-guide
- To triage any issues, click here.
Important
Only have one window of the egm-ygb desktop application open at any one time, the ball dispenser will not work if multiple windows of the application are open.
¶ Receipt Printer
For walk-in customers who do not have their mobile device to hand, we recommend using a receipt printer to print out barcodes and tokens. This is also useful if you need to quickly print out a quick 20 balls token to scan at the ball dispenser.
We recommend any 80mm thermal printer with an automatic cutter, such as the one linked below.

If you're using Crossover XPOS, you will need an additional printer connected to your computer.

The EGM-YGB app will only work for PC computers.
